CHAPTER TWENTY ONE. THE REAL CAUSES OF THE DEATHS AND COLLAPSES.
The prosecution’s “expert” witness insisted that many of these babies were murdered. However, other medical experts disagree with this opinion.
The following quotes are from the book Lucy is Innocent, by Paul Bamford, SECOND EDITION, ISBN number 9798326484130 (I strongly recommend this book.)
Pages 43 to 47:- Baby A. Neonatology expert Professor Kendrick states that the baby died from suboptimal care (and possibly hyperthermia).
Pages 56 to 58:- Baby D. Neonatology expert Professor Kendrick states that the baby was severely damaged at birth. The death was “not surprising”. Also suboptimal care.
Pages 111 to 118:- Baby G. Had sepsis. Doctors thought the baby’s “chances of survival were slim”.
Pages 160 to 165:- Baby I. Neonatology expert Professor Kendrick states – lots of reasons for collapse.
Pages 326 to 345:- Babies O and P. Neonatology expert Professor Kendrick states – overwhelming infection written all over them.

Doctor Jo McPartland and another pathologist at The Alder Hey Hospital looked at the various cases, and found nothing suspicious.
The following quote is from the article in The New Yorker (issue for May 20th, 2024) by Rachel Aviv, entitled – A Reporter at Large – Conviction, page 36:- Baby A. A longline possibly placed too close to the heart was a possible cause of death.
The following quotes are from The Daily Telegraph, February 6th, 2025, page 4:-
A panel of 14 international specialists in neonatology reviewed the deaths and collapses of the various infants. This panel was headed by Doctor Shoo Lee, president of the Canadian Neonatal Foundation. The conclusions regarding deaths and collapses of babies were as follows:- Baby A. The accusation was air embolism. Actual cause of death was thrombosis.
Baby D. The accusation was air embolism. Actual cause of death was sepsis, pneumonia, and blood clotting.
Baby F. The accusation was insulin poisoning. The international panel stated that there was no evidence of deliberate insulin poisoning. They stated that there was “poor medical management”.
Baby G. the accusation was milk and air forced down feeding tube. The international panel stated that the deterioration was due to infection.
Baby I. The accusation was air embolism. Actual cause of death was chronic lung disease.
Baby K. The accusation was deliberate dislodgement of breathing tube. The international panel stated that the deterioration was caused by use of an undersized endotracheal tube.
Baby O. The accusation was air embolism and deliberate trauma to liver. The international panel stated that the baby died from trauma to the liver caused by traumatic delivery.
Here is a quote from Private Eye Special Report. The Lessons of The Lucy Letby Case, by Doctor Phil Hammond. MD. (available online.), part 12:- Baby O is discussed. A doctor (apparently Doctor Brearey) accidentally killed Baby O. He was one of Lucy Letby’s accusers. She was convicted of killing Baby O. Neonatologist Doctor Richard Taylor read the baby’s medical notes, and stated that a doctor inserted a needle into the baby to relieve abdominal distension. He accidentally hit the liver instead, (My comment:- It is outrageous that a doctor would allow someone else “take the fall” for his own mistake, especially as “taking the fall” meant a life sentence in prison. But then, she is “only” a nurse, whereas he is a doctor, so she is “expendable”, and also he clearly bore great malice towards her for her “whistle-blowing activities, and her feminism.)
In light of the above, there is absolutely no evidence of murder or deliberate harm against any infants on the unit. Lucy Letby is completely innocent, and should be released immediately.
